Sophia College (Autonomous), Ajmer provides facilities for Indoor and Outdoor sports and games for students such as- Volleyball, Shooting, Basketball, Badminton, Wrestling, Cricket, Taekwondo, Table Tennis, Athletics, Chess, Lawn Tennis, Swimming, Hockey, Softball, Martial Arts, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Handball etc., to help them develop interpersonal skills such as team work, cooperation, accountability, punctuality, trust and leadership.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE SESSION (2025-26)

• The college participated in the 39th Inter Collegiate Tournaments in Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Cricket, Handball,Kabaddi, Kho- Kho, Netball, Shooting, Softball, Table – Tennis, Tennis and Volleyball from the month of September till March

ACHIEVEMENTS IN SPORTS FOR THE SESSION (2025-26)

The college celebrated the National Sports Day on the 29th of August, 2025.

21 players of the college represented the MDS University in All India/ West Zone Inter University Tournaments in various sports.

38th Intercollegiate Gymnastics (M& W) and Netball (W) Tournament of M.D.S. University Ajmer was hosted by the College in the Month of October and January respectively.

The Intramural Sports 2025-26 was organized from 30th January to 4th February 2026. 218 students participated in various sports like Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Throwball and Volleyball.

The college was declared WINNER/RUNNER UP in:

• Intercollegiate Basketball Tournament for the eighteen consecutive year.
• Intercollegiate Badminton Tournament for the Sixth consecutive year.
• Intercollegiate Netball Tournament.

• Sanskrti Kanwar, Mahak Verma, Shivika Rajawat and Vanshika Sen participated in state Netball Championship .
• Pahal Sodha B.A. Pt. I participated in state Yogasana Sports Championship 2025and secured third position.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

• Diya Shekhawat from B.A. Pt. III and Piyadarshini Soni from B.A. Pt. III participated in the National Level Shooting Championship.
